How to get here

Odense is well connected to both national and international railway and is therefore easily reached by train. 

The national railway is operated by the Danish Railway Company (DSB) and connects from all major towns to Odense

From Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup):
If you arrive at Kastrup airport, tickets for the journey are available from the DSB ticket office above the railway station in Terminal 3 or from ticket machines in the station area, which is located on the ground floor.

Trains leave every 10 minutes from the airport to Copenhagen, where trains depart for Odense approx. every 30 minutes. The journey from Copenhagen Airport to Odense takes approx. 2 hours.

Billund Airport:
When arriving at Billund Airport you can take the bus and train combined to Odense.

From the terminal walk to the bus stop (1 min.) take bus number 43 or 143 (leaves approx. every 40 minute) to Vejle (Vejle Trafikcenter). From Vejle Trafikcenter you walk approx. 6 minutes to Vejle Banegård (The train station). And take the train towards Kastrup Airport (ICL 46). In Odense you leave the train at Odense Banegård Center. From here you can either walk or take a taxi.

From the railway to the venue
European Robotic Forum 2012 takes place at Kulturmaskinen/Magasinet i Odense. Kulturmaskinen/Magasinet lies within walking distance from the railway station in Odense.

You can also take a taxi directly from "Odense Banegård Center" (the railway station).

Direction to walk from the railway station (1.6 km):
0.3 km in direction west on the street "Østre Stationsvej" Turn left on "Jernbanegade" after 0.3 km turn right on "Vindegade" after 0.4 km, take the first exit in the roundabout and continue following "Vindegade" 100 metres. Turn left on "Pantheonsgade" and after 100 metres; turn left on the street "Farvergården" after 400 metres you have arrived Kulturmaskinen/Magasinet. This takes about 15 minutes.

Taxi:
You can get a taxi from the taxi rank behind the main building of Odense Banegård Center (railway station). Look for the taxi signs at the railway station. The journey from the railway station to The Magasinet takes about 2 minutes.

There are many opportunities to park near the venues - please note that in blue and red areas you park against payment
